How to Install HPLIP 3.23.3 on Ubuntu / RHEL / Elementary OS / Linux Mint and Mx Linux

To install HPLIP on Ubuntu, RHEL, Elementary OS, or Linux Mint, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the installer file

wget -O

Step 2: Provide execute permissions to the installer file and execute it

sudo chmod +x

Step 3: Run the installer file

sudo ./
